Astronomic Tour

Visit the largest solar observatory in the world and observe the stars of Teide with long-range telescopes.

Important: the price for the option ''VIP- Private Tour '' includes a private tour for 4 people. If you want to add more people to your group, you must select the option ''VIP- Private Tour Extra Person " and add it to the basket. Maximum of 8 people per group.

Note: Pick up will be at the closest meeting point to your hotel.

RESTRICTIONS:

Anyone wearing open footwear (sandals), shorts or short sleeves will not be allowed to join the excursion. It is essential to be suitably attired, as the activity will be undertaken in low temperatures. 

Accessibility:

• This activity is accessible for people with reduced mobility, provided their degree of disability allows them to board the bus on their own.

• At some stops, the terrain may be uneven or have slopes, which can make the walk more difficult.

• If bringing a wheelchair or another mobility aid, it must be foldable in order to be placed in the bus trunk.

The Astronomic Tour is not recommended for people with poor general physical health (anaemia, heart disease, respiratory problems, and so on), nor for individuals with reduced mobility as the tour requires the use of paths and stairs.

Children under 8 are not allowed to participate in early evening and nighttime activities.

Please bear in mind that you must have a sufficient knowledge of the language in which the visit is held in order to be able to correctly follow the explanations of the guide.

Remember that there will be no possibility to eat it during the activity but we will make a stop to eat. Of course, if you bring your own food, you can eat it during the programmed break, though not inside the restaurant.

Pets are not allowed.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:

Reservations may be cancelled or the date of the activity may be changed free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the activity. After this period, 100% of the amount will be charged.

If weather conditions prevent the complete activity from taking place, the full amount will be refunded. If weather conditions prevent the visit to the Observatory, the rate for the Teide by Night excursion (with or without picnic) will be charged and the difference will be refunded. In case of cloud cover at the Observatory, the usual itinerary of the contracted visit may be modified. If weather conditions prevent astronomical observation, €35 will be refunded per adult and €30 per child for non-residents, and €24.50 per adult and €21 per child for residents.
